I don't normally do nail art twice in one week as I am usually too tired to do another set during the work week, but as I am on vacation next week, I wanted to squeeze in this set of Hawaiian flower nails that I saw over on the OPI Instagram page by @brushedbyb_ yesterday because they just screamed summer!
As you can see, I don't do a lot of time-consuming nail art anymore and sometimes even just knowing that I will have to whip out a bunch of brushes, nail polishes and paint leaves me feeling overwhelmed, but the tutorial looked fairly painless and after practicing on my thumb, I managed to squeak out a few flowers! The hardest part of this manicure was positioning the white petals so that when I connected them, the flower looked "blossomy" and not off in proportions.
On My Nails:
(Base Coat) OPI Infinite Shine Primer*
(Base Colour) OPI Infinite Shine Bee Unapologetic*
(Gradient) OPI Infinite Shine Mango For It*, OPI Infinite Shine Exercise Your Brights*
(Flowers) White acrylic paint, Mary Kay Tropical Mandarin* and Sally Hansen Dandelion*
(Top Coat) OPI Infinite Shine Top Coat*
The OPI Power of Hue collection has been a real go-to for me the last few weeks and I think it will continue to be this way for the rest of the summer because the shades are just so perfect! It's my birthday tomorrow so I will be up to birthday shenanigans that I will be showcasing over on my Instagram account!
