Talk about cute packaging, right? These A'Pieu Milk One Pack sheet masks have been around for awhile at about 5 years at LEAST and it doesn't look like they are going anywhere! With their enticingly delicious packaging, quick results and affordability, sheet masks like these are what got me started on this journey oh so long ago!
White Milk
This hydrating mask contains milk protein and milk extract to provide moisture to the skin. I have only ever seen milk used in a few sheet masks and I used to worry that my skin would freak out because I am lactose-intolerant. Luckily, I have had no reactions on the skin and only in my gut! The essence smelled very faintly like condensed milk and was hydrating and lightly tacky.
This mask is meant to be deeply moisturizing and contains coconut fruit and mushroom extract which are GREAT at replenishing moisture in the skin while making skin soft and supple. I was afraid that the scent of this would be a harsh fake coconut, but in actual fact it reminded me a lot more of the Asian Calpis drink which is made by milk fermentation. It's sweet and a very popular drink in Asia that you can find in most Asian grocery stores here in Canada. It's super tasty and I usually pick it up when I go to T&T as a treat!
The Strawberry Milk mask focuses on brightening and contains strawberry, milk and pearl extract. It also smells like Japanese strawberry candy so with a hint of milkiness to it. This was one of my favourites in terms of scent!
This is the smoothing mask and contains milk and cocoa extract to improve skin texture. This mask did not smell at all like chocolate and smelled like very fake coconut. It also felt a bit "burny" while it was on my skin so it wasn't the most enjoyable for me.
The scent of this mask was one of my favourites as it smelled like coffee with a splash of milk in it! It actually contains coffee bean AND milk extract, but didn't feel very different than the other masks. It was equally hydrating and really just had one of the better scents!
Final verdict: These are fun and entertaining masks that are great for all ages and occasions. They make skincare fun and I am glad I finally got a chance to try them! They didn't seem to differ all that much from each other in terms of results so really I would just get the ones that smell the best! While the ingredients are the best, they aren't the worst either and for a mask that on average has a price point of $2, I would say you definitely get your money's worth!
You can find the A'Pieu Milk One Pack Sheet Masks at many Korean e-tailers and retailers.
