Purchased by me
I don't even remember when I got these masks from Missha, but I remember that it was at the height of me discovering the world of sheet masking where I pretty much bought everything in sight! These masks had such gorgeous packaging that I grabbed them thinking they would make great flatlays and sure enough, they do! These masks were part of a collaboration with Korean artist Kelly Park which features her artwork as the packaging and explains why it was so eye-catching! I had no idea what I was buying at the time and after learning there were six masks in total, I tried looking for them, but to no avail so it will just have to be these two masks for today!
What makes this mask special? For one, it smells like coffee, it's BROWN and from what Google Translate has told me, there is adenosine in the essence which can stimulate collagen production. I should note that I can barely find ANY information on this series of masks so even the ingredients list is unknown to me as it isn't even on the package!
I have tried well over 1000 sheet masks at this point and never have I tried a brown-coloured mask! It fit really well with even the nose piece being the right length, had plenty of essence and sat snugly around the chin.
Mask Summary:
Price: I think I paid around $4 USD for each.
What it does: Firming
Scent: Very light coffee
Essence Type: Mildly viscous and clear
Duration: 30 minutes
Thickness: Thin/medium
Mask Fit: A little bit big on the sides.
Tackiness: None!
Hydration: Good!
Other notes: N/A
What makes this mask special? Firstly, it is PINK and smells like apples! It also contains vitamin C derived from apple extract to brighten skin tone.
For some reason this mask did not fit quite as nicely as the previous mask as it was a bit big on the sides of my face, but the nose and chin were both still well-fitted.
Mask Summary:
Price: I think I paid around $4 USD for each.
What it does: Revitalizing and toning
Scent: Floral apple
Essence Type: Mildly viscous and clear
Duration: 30 minutes
Thickness: Thin/medium
Mask Fit: A little bit big on the sides
Tackiness: None!
Hydration: My skin felt unbelievably supple about 2 hours after I had removed the mask and massaged in the essence.
Other notes: N/A
Final verdict: I would have LOVED to try the other four masks in this collection as they each had different scents and mask colours. Overall, the results were quite nice for both masks so I am sure that the other masks would have been promising as well!
You can no longer find these Missha x Kelly Park masks though they seemed brutally hard to locate even when they were available a few years ago!
