While I was organizing my sheet masks last month, I realized I hadn't really gone through the sheet masks I had received from Beauteque. For a few years, I was a very lucky gal who was able to receive sheet masks as press samples to showcase the diversity of the Beauteque subscription boxes. Without an explanantion, Beauteque ended up shutting down in 2021, but it was probably for similar reasons that MANY subscription boxes shut down and that is that it simply got too expensive to maintain which is why I am still in awe of Ipsy and Boxycharm. I think there are a few other subscription boxes out there, but after trying at least five beauty boxes over the years, a sheet mask sub is probably the only one that I would enjoy since this is the one product I can use up AND enjoy consistently! 

In one of the Beauteque summer-themed boxes, they did a fruit theme which featured two of these Peripera Smoothie Time sheet masks. Isn't the packaging so summery and cute? There are a total of five "flavours" that all look good enough to drink, contain fruit extracts and made with 100% naturally derived eco-friendly fabric fibers. These fabric provides an airy and permeable layer intended to help deliver ingredients to the skin more effectively.

Mango Deep Moisturizing*

What makes this mask special? You have real mango extract as the fifth ingredient on the list which is an antioxidant, antibacterial and of course hydrating! It also has a slightly creamy essence for an extra dose of moisture. 

The mask fit wasn't perfect, as it was a little big around the sides of the face, but overall still felt comfortable to apply and wear.

Mask Summary:

What it does: Intensely moisturizes with mango extract

Scent: Like mango

Essence Type: Milky, slightly watery

Duration: 25 minutes

Thickness: Very thin! 

Mask Fit: I feel like this could have been better on me, but I found the forehead too short and the sides too long. The moustache was also a bit thin.

Tackiness: Light

Hydration: Good. I did not feel like I needed moisturizer though I really feel like I should get back inthe habit of "sealing things in".

Other notes: Mask fabric was super soft and stretchy.

Pomegranate Glowing*

What makes this mask special? Pomegranate extract is the fourth ingredient on the list and is a well-known antioxidant often used in skincare so it is again nice to see it sitting tall and proud at the start of the list!

Mask Summary:

What it does: Moisturizes and nourishes using fruit extract

Scent: Slightly fruity

Essence Type: Clear, slightly watery

Duration: 25 minutes

Thickness: She is thin, thin, thin!

Mask Fit: I feel like this could have been better on me, but I found the forehead too short and the sides too long. The moustache was also a bit thin.

Tackiness: None and the essence was completely absorbed within a couple of minutes after the mask was removed.

Hydration: Good for summer and humid weather, but I think I would need more hydration if I used this mask in the fall/winter.

Other notes: Mask fabric was super soft and stretchy.

Final verdict: As it is summer, the pomegranate mask with its lack of tackiness was much more pleasant, but both were fairly nice though the fit could have been a bit better. The sheet mask fabric was probably one of the nicer ones I have experienced and I hope to experience more from Peripera in the way of skincare! 


I think these masks are hard to find now, but the best bet is to try your luck online at a few Kbeauty stores.
