This past week I was on a lovely staycation and while parts of it were productive, I was very sloth-like for the majority of it and I guess that's ok! The whole purpose was to catch up on some beauty things, do some beauty clean out (which I did!), read, watch the Olympics and get my movie count going again!

SKINCARE | MaskerAide Pineapple Brightening Jelly Mask

In the summer of 2020, one of my favourite sheet mask brands, MaskerAide, decided to add something new to their line up - wash off masks! I have been sitting on this review for awhile not for any particular reason, but this is the year I finally catch up! A detoxifying Matcha clay mask was also released in addition to the Pineapple Brightening Jelly Mask, but I will save that for a separate review because it's pretty awesome too!

NAILS | Happy Valentine's Day! #CBBxManiMonday

How convenient that Valentine's Day falls on a CBBxManiMonday! Today is the last official day of my vacation which I am both sad and relieved about as I realized that being super out of it for two days after having my Booster put me on a path of..."unproductivity". I was pretty much the most efficient in my first 3 days and then kind of lost it though my husband often says that I should just find a way to relax instead of running around taking photos and forcing myself to play with makeup. He kind of has a point, but I feel like the guilt would kill me if I didn't do SOME blog planning. I did do a relatively big clean out and gave away about 4 bags of makeup and skincare, but there will always be much to do!

SHEET MASK | Love, Jude Cat Pouch, Sexy Radish and Three Fingers #LunarFebruary

When it comes to skincare and sheet masks, Jude Chao of the blog Fifty Shades of Snail, has been around for a loooong time and it was one of the first blogs I came across years ago that had very in depth skincare reviews for Asian products and with a great sense of humour! She is also similar in age to me so it's nice to know that what works for her has a high probability of working for me! We have seen SO MANY influencer beauty product launches in recent years, but THIS launch is one I had full trust in just because of how detailed and thoughtfully critical Jude has always been of skincare. The perfect sheet masks were a love letter to all of her followers, readers and support that Jude has received over the years hence the brand name Love, Jude!

LIFESTYLE | Five on Friday - Feb.11 - LEGO Ahsoka Tano, New Ink, LNY Office Setup, Blume Lavender and Extended Versions of LOTR Movies

Last week, I was pretty much gunning to make it to this week as I am on the last few days of a much needed vacation! I haven't taken more than a few days off since the Fall (pretty standard for retail life) and it felt good to plan some things to do around the house, but let's see what I got up to last week!

The newest LEGO Star Wars Brickheadz launch was released last month and I have to say Ahsoka Tano is looking VERY cool! They even got her hair(?) ears (?) right! Super fun to build and I hope they do more as I missed the bulk of the more popular Star Wars Brickheadz characters. I am not even going to try to buy them since they are ridiculously expensive...

HAIR | Soo'AE Honey Avocado and Sooth Tea Tee Rosemary Hair Masks #LunarFebruary

I have always been a very devoted hair mask user as I am actually quite terrified of what my hair will look and feel like without the help of some extra dimethicones! After doing some beauty organization the last few weeks, I have come to realize that with my focus being less on makeup, I have now zeroed in on other parts of my body and my hair has been a big one!
