HAIR | Soo'AE Honey Avocado and Sooth Tea Tee Rosemary Hair Masks #LunarFebruary

I have always been a very devoted hair mask user as I am actually quite terrified of what my hair will look and feel like without the help of some extra dimethicones! After doing some beauty organization the last few weeks, I have come to realize that with my focus being less on makeup, I have now zeroed in on other parts of my body and my hair has been a big one!

Purchased by me

While Soo'AE was having one of their sales in 2020, I threw in some hair masks as I thought the packaging was cute and they looked like they would smell pretty good! Sadly, I think these masks have now been discontinued, but you can still get them from Amazon and other Korean e-tailers. I feel like my little slow down last year has led to me saying this quite a bit when it comes to a lot of products so my apologies for that, but I'm doing my best to catch up!

Honey Avocado Intensive Hair Mask

My hair is fairly long and I got about 2-3 uses out of each packet depending on whether I focused just on my ends are brought the mask up above my ears. The Honey Avocado mask is lightly honey scented and in addition to dimethicone also contains avocado and olive fruit oil and honey extract. This is a mask for dry and damaged hair (which is my hair pretty much all the time). It doesn't weigh the hair down so bringing the product up to the roots is not a problem. It does make my hair feel quite smooth, but isn't the most nourishing mask I have used.

The resealable nozzle is quite useful as I often worry about water getting into my masks when it's just a plastic pouch I cut open.

Soothe Tea Tree Rosemary Hair Mask

This hair mask is one that removes buildup without being too harsh on the scalp. Like the Honey Avocado mask, this also hydrates the hair and contains tea tree extract, tea tree oil and rosemary extract. What I REALLY loved about this mask was the scent and it smelled exactly as I had hoped it would! So, if you don't like the scent of tea tree and/or rosemary, this is not the mask for you!

Final verdict: My hair felt pretty similar after using both masks and though I only paid about $1/mask, I think there is still more value in picking up the similar performing Garnier Fructis hair masks that often go on sale for $2.99 and have a lot more product. These Soo'AE masks would be really great for travel (when that day comes for me again) as they are flat and can be safely sealed. They were a great novelty thing to try and I still enjoyed them!

You can find these hair masks in Amazon and various Korean e-tailers.
