I hope everyone is having a great weekend! It's shaping up to be a nice, sunny day today so I am looking forward to having a nice long walk with my husband today. Something we try to do every Sunday though I know that when it's raining or I have had a particularly tiring week, I tend to be very grumpy when we do them. I am counting on being a better mood tomorrow as the last few days have been socially draining, but in a positive way. I am just an introvert who needs to recharge so I am hoping to feel ready to go on Monday!

I had high hopes for blogging more this month, but working so much this season really took it out of me so I allowed myself some grace (and naps) to catch up. I have today to Sunday off so I think I will feel MUCH better by the time Monday rolls around. I started my day off with a Dior facial (which was glorious) and a little retail therapy at Holt Renfrew. I came home after fighting downtown traffic at noon (like WTF) and had to do some grocery shopping, having not been able to do any for the last 1.5 weeks, had lunch and then promptly fell asleep for an hour while watching The Good Place. All in all, a good start to recovery!

Happy Sunday everyone! This last week was a bit of a bust in terms of blog-related things for a number of reasons. Firstly, I got my double jab of Covid and Flu last week which caused immediate arm pain and general sluggishness as the day progressed. Last year, I fell in love with Korean skincare brand Tocobo - specifically, their Bio Watery Sun Cream which I full on finished over the summer! It's not an easy brand to find and while there are a few Canadian retailers who carry Tocobo as a brand, I found the sunscreen the most challenging to find so luckily when it came back in stock at my favourite Canadian K-Beauty store, Bellbees, I picked it up and immediately knew after trying out the sunscreen that I would need to experience more!

When it comes to skincare and sheet masks, Jude Chao of the blog Fifty Shades of Snail, has been around for a loooong time and it was one of the first blogs I came across years ago that had very in depth skincare reviews for Asian products and with a great sense of humour! She is also similar in age to me so it's nice to know that what works for her has a high probability of working for me! We have seen SO MANY influencer beauty product launches in recent years, but THIS launch is one I had full trust in just because of how detailed and thoughtfully critical Jude has always been of skincare. The perfect sheet masks were a love letter to all of her followers, readers and support that Jude has received over the years hence the brand name Love, Jude!
