I found it a bit odd that the OPI Peanuts Collection was a Halloween release as I certainly do not associate Snoopy and the Peanuts crew with it. Christmas on the other hand? For sure! Watching Charlie Brown is just as necessary as watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” (which I’ve only watched once because it makes me TOO contemplative). I felt a little strange just painting my nails all yellow with OPI – Good Grief!*, so I decided to add a little Snoopy too.
I rarely do bottle shots, but I thought some of you might want to see how Where’s My Blanket??? actually looks in the bottle since it’s on the unique side.
I don’t normally like creme yellow polishes, but Good Grief! was a non-streaky sunny yellow that was fully opaque in 3 coats. On my pinky, I added two coats of Where’s My Blanket???*, a matte glitter composed of black, orange and yellow hex glitter. Not my favourite glitter from OPI, but an appropriate colour scheme for Halloween. The rest was hand-drawn with acrylic paint.
Get ready for an onslaught of holiday manicures! I don’t normally do the cliché Santa hats and reindeer, but THIS year is all about going FULL Christmas!
