About a week and a half ago, the lovely folks at Overcat Communications invited beauty bloggers and media alike to relish in the newest Estee Lauder beauty releases for the Spring and Summer season. Taking place at my FAVOURITE hotel in Vancouver, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, the format was slightly different in that in addition to the tour of products, there was a theme: “3 Minute Beauty”. We were all given step by step tutorials for three looks that we were assured would only take three minutes to do: Perfect Brows, Skyhigh Cheekbones and the Simple Smoky Eye. All of these being very important for that girl on the go!
Courreges Estee Lauder is a brand new mod-inspired makeup collection with colours intended to “float” on the face. With its capsule-like packaging and Jetson family-worthy shades, this is a collaboration you need to check out at Sephora. There is a liquid white eyeliner that is to DIE FOR.
I am in love with the new Double Wear Stay-In Place Eye Pencils! So incredibly smooth and once they set, the apocalypse could hit and they will not budge. I especially liked the pearl shade second from the left as it can be used as an inner corner highlight.
Did you know that Estee Lauder has an anti-blemish line? Clear Difference is exactly that and although the products do not cater to my skin type (for now…) the brand new Clear Difference Oil Control/Mattifying Gel and Purifying Exfoliating Mask seem like wonderful clarifying treatments!
OH MY GOSH. AERIN Rose de Grasse is like the BEST rose fragrance I have EVER smelled and I don’t even like florals! (Sorry, those are Gerry’s legs behind. Didn’t feel like asking her to move.)
Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipsticks are incredibly pigmented and come in so many delectable colours!
Ah, the Little Black Primer. I’m not sure how I feel about this yet, but maybe I just need to try it out for myself.
Seeing collections like Bronze Goddess make me want summer to come NOW.
I was so enraptured by the tutorials, that I didn’t take out my camera to take photos. I know. I’m a disappointment, but thankfully Gerry from PBunnieP did on her vlog! I even make a guest appearance about 2 minutes in so for some live action shots of the event and my awkward self, check out the video (here)! Thank you to Estee Lauder and Overcat for being such gracious hosts and if I can keep to a schedule, I’ll showcase some of these gems soon!
