I am not quite done with summer yet and even though Fall is slowly making its way into my wardrobe and makeup, I find myself still reaching for sunscreen, products to enhance my tan and my ever-rotating collection of TKEES sandals. Even though my last hair review for Live Clean didn't quite work out, these summer beauty products have been pretty awesome.
I know a number of people who just cannot use chemical sunscreens and even though I am not one of them, I generally will wear a mineral sunscreen on my body. Yes, they have a thicker consistency and a slightly whitish cast, but the Live Clean Sport Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 45* is surprisingly lightweight for a high endurance sunscreen and becomes clear once rubbed onto the skin.
While I haven't been sunburned in almost 15 years now, I still get the occasional sun sensitivity after being outside the whole day. You know, when your skin just feels a little warm, but not burnt? I usually spritz some Avene or Evian water all over, but have started using the Live Clean After Sun Aloe Vera Gel* on my arms and legs just to soothe and cool off. Rubbing in the clear gel feels like spreading cool water all over my skin and has also come in handy for burns resulting from kitchen mishaps!
With the last few weeks in Vancouver being so humid and the air quality being poorer than Beijing because of the wildfires, I don't know how many times I just felt like washing my face and getting the grime off my face!
