NAILS | One Last Attempt at Fall #CBBxManiMonday

I never really got to do a Fall Leaves manicure mainly because I thought I could manage a ManiMonday while I was away on vacation in September and as it turns out, vacation-Jayne is pretty lazy and does NOT feel like doing her nails! By the time I got back to Vancouver, it was already October and time for Halloween manicures so the fall season definitely got neglected.

Today's nail art features the new Essie Winter 2018 Collection which also features a new wide brush! FINALLY! No more skinny brush to paint with! This was honestly the sole reason I rarely bought the regular Essie polishes and now I don't have to hold myself back anymore!

I started off with two coats of Essie Million Mile Hues* which is sort of this metallic green-gold that didn't look the best on me on its own, but paired with other polishes was stunning. I waited for this polish to FULLY dry before applying a Leaf Nail Vinyl from WhatsUp Nails on top. I decided to sponge on a gradient and chose the Essie shades: Hear Me Aurora*, Set the Seam* and Sights on Nightlights* which were all such pretty shades on their own...I think I will have to just do a regular "paint job" and enjoy these shades on their own because these were very pigmented!

Once I had cleaned up around my cuticles where I had gotten "excess leaf", I applied a thick layer of Essie Gel Setter Top Coat* to give the look of touchable shine!
