Not going to lie, but I picked up this Cactus and Aloe Soothing Hydrogel Mask mainly because the packaging was so bright and colourful! Then again, so many of Soo'Ae's products are which is really what prompted me to do #SooAeSeptember in the first place! While I'm sure I can probably do a whole month's worth of different masks for well known Korean brands like Mediheal, Etude House or A'pieu, Soo'Ae is easily accessible at Walmart in Canada and I know that for those of you who are newer to sheet masks, having something visually ready to pick up in a drugstore is more palatable than going online and hoping you're shopping at the right Korean etailer!
This is a hydrogel mask so immediately we know that this mask is going to be very cooling and have a jelly texture. This mask comes in two parts and is intended to soothe, hydrate and revitalize all skin types year round. I was saving this for summer, but now that I know the results, I would easily use this for winter! This contains prickly pear cactus and aloe extract for soothing and anti-inflammatory effects as well as sodium hyaluronate for hydration. There are also a number of other fruit extracts that act to brighten the skin and all are in the top half of the ingredients list!

Mask Summary:
Price: $5.00 CDN
Skin concerns: Irritated skin, dryness, improves elasticity
Scent: Smelled like watermelon to me, but I don't think it's supposed to be that LOL
Essence Type: Clear, lightly viscous gel
Duration: 15-20 minutes
Thickness: Average for hydrogel, but soft and molded to skin
Mask Fit: Not bad with the chin lifting a bit. The bottom half of the mask did keep sliding while I was upright which is pretty common with hydrogel since the gel is heavy.
Tackiness: Light
Hydration: Good!
Other notes: N/A
Final verdict: I really enjoyed this mask! It smelled good, was fun to look at and the tackiness was very light while hydrating my skin. The sensation of hydrogel is always so pleasant and with Soo'Ae online having promotions fairly regularly, I could see myself picking this mask up again!
