Revlon | Shiny Matte Nail Art in Khaki Satin

After Revlon’s success with their double-ended nail art polish line, it seems we just cannot get enough of these polishes which led to the creation of Revlon’s Shiny Matte Nail Enamel line which I will share with you today! The duo I will be reviewing is for Khaki Satin which is a matte slate grey polish on one side and a metallic purple on the other.

The matte slate grey polish applied beautifully although the polish brush was a little short for my taste. It did pick up polish quite nicely and I only needed two coats for full opacity.

Once the polish was relatively dry, I took the purple polish and wiped off as much of the polish as possible and painted quick “graffiti-like” strokes in a criss-cross pattern. The brush for the purple polish was longer and thinner and definitely intended for nail art.

I think if you don’t have the elaborate 700 polish collection that I have, paying $8.95 for having two polishes that compliment each other is not a bad deal. The shape is quite convenient as you can easily transport the “tube” in your purse for quick touch-ups and there is more than enough polish in each side to give you a decent number of applications.

There are an array of polish duos to collect so which one will you be adding to your nail polish collection?
