Ipsy | January 2013

For the first time EVER, I think someone stole my subscription box! My January Ipsy bag was apparently delivered at my work, but there was no trace of it. It looks like the bright pink mailer was left too close to the entrance and someone walked away with it…I hope they’re enjoying MY Ipsy bag and that they needed the pick me up. Ipsy Customer Service was kind of enough to mail me a substitute one which I received in February.

Nourish Organic | Face LotionDSC_0528

Nourish Organic's Lightweight Moisturizing Face Lotion provides continuous moisture throughout the day while replenishing essential skin nutrients. The advanced, non-greasy formula is also rich in vitamins and antioxidants to boost skin's defenses and leave skin healthier and younger-looking every day. 100% Natural. USDA-Certified Organic. Fragrance-Free. Alcohol-Free. Ultra gentle for sensitive skin.
* Moroccan Argan Oil intensely hydrates and replenishes skin
* Rosewater evens out skin tone and smoothes texture
* Shea Butter locks in moisture and improves skin's elasticity.

Thoughts: The smell is kind of weird…I can’t even decide if its bad or not. It’s just very “natural” and has a bit of a “tang” to it? I’m making this sounds really appealing aren’t I? The consistency is nice though, very light and hydrating.

Total Value of January 2013 Ipsy Bag: $45.51

I think the lip balm is little overpriced, but maybe I’m just not familiar enough with the brand to consider paying that much for a little pot of lip balm. Then again, I’ve paid $28 for a bottle of polish so maybe my reasoning systems are not to be trusted.

This is my ipsy referral link if you so choose to use it!
