I keep talkin' Korean beauty, but the Taiwanese people make great skincare too! Last year I discovered Taiwanese brand Naruko and was really pleased with what I had tried so I was super excited when they agreed to be a part of my #100DaysofSheetMask Challenge! My 100th mask will be on November 8th and lemme tell ya, 31 day mask challenges will be a BREEZE compared to this one! I haven't seen anyone online do 100 straight days of sheet masking and it definitely isn't for the faint of heart. My skin is quite resilient so I haven't had any breakouts, but I am systematic about which combination of masks I am using so I will not use for instance, a super hydrating biocellulose mask back to back with another. Naruko makes some pretty good sheet masks (review here) with the Magnolia Brightening and Firming Mask being my favourite from them so far so let's see how the Jing Cheng Face Renewal Miracle Mask* fared against my current favourite!

This mask uses a featherweight 4D technology to provide an exceptionally soft mask material that helps to moisturize skin, eliminate fine lines and promote a healthy and radiant appearance. Typically the term "4D mask" means that the neck is covered as well using ear loops, but this mask seemed pretty normal so I am not sure if I misreading the 4D part. I tried going to the website AND using Google Translate, but since everything is still in Chinese it's hard to know what I am reading. Oh, I am one of those Chinese people who doesn't read or speak Chinese...
There are a whackload of ingredients in the essence of this mask probably the most I have ever seen in a sheet mask most of which are plant-based, but at the very top of the list are some familiar ingredients such as various forms of dimethicone and glycerin to name a few!
The fit of the mask was fairly good and there was a ton of essence which allowed the mask to adhere to my skin with ease. The actual mask material was very soft and plush and had almost a quilted texture to it.
What I did not like about this mask was the scent. There was a strong alcohol scent even though there isn't any in the ingredients list so I think it may be a combination of the plant extracts. The scent did fade after a few minutes, but I was quite aware of it at the beginning.
Mask Summary:
Scent: Alcoholish
Duration: 15-20 minutes
Thickness: Thin
Mask Fit: Good with a bit extra around the hairline
Tackiness: Zero
Hydration: It FELT low as I felt like I needed to apply moisturizer after essence was absorbed.
