I have been wearing lipstick again to work! Albeit, it's matte lipstick so that it lasts all day as we are still masking during store hours, but I have been tentatively taking it off when I am at my desk or on my own. I am prepared for things to change once the Fall/Winter season hits as we might be on to a different letter of the Greek alphabet for the next variant! 

Many of you are probably familiar with Kbeauty brand The Face Shop for their many MANY sheet mask options and skincare, but they also make a ton of makeup products under the brand fmg. Now, that Avon has started carrying their products, I love that Korean beauty products are now more accessible to someone who might feel a bit overwhelmed with getting started as there are A LOT of options! 

Pre-2020 Jayne LIVED for glossy, pigmented lips. The shinier, the better! Coming in six shades, the fmg High-Gloss Lacquers are formulated with seven plant-derived oils (sweet almond, borage seed, calendula, chamomile, lavender, rose and rosemary leaf) to provide high shine, instant hydration and ultra plumped up lips! 

The applicator comes with a doefoot reservoir tip so all you need is one swipe (no second dip!) to cover both upper and lower lips. As you can see from the swatches below, they are VERY pigmented!

The shade "Frozen Beige" is my favourite one because it is a neutral and the most wearable of the four shades I received, but all four are mega-pigmented and last on the lips. Once they dry down a bit, a little of the high-shine dies down, but such is the case with all high shine lip glosses I have tried. The colour is still there though so I never feel like I have to reapply product and my lips do not feel dry or uncomfortable.

Final verdict: These instantly glam up any look and are very comfortable to wear. While I am sure we all have pigmented lipglosses in our collections, if you are ever looking to expand into Kbeauty, these are solid performers rivalling the luxury brands you see at Sephora!
