When I first started doing nail art, Sally Hansen was and still is my go-to a lot of the time. The polishes are usually of very good quality and I can count on one hand the polishes that didn’t meet my expectations (which are now ridiculously high thanks to hundreds of manicures later!). I was so excited to see the release of I <3 Nail Art Collection because if any company should have a full nail art line, it’s Sally Hansen!
For today’s nail art, I used the mini dotting tool from the new I <3 Nail Art Tool Kit ($5.95 CDN) which also includes a detailer and striping brush and stencils for some quick nail art. I also used the colours “All Aglow” and “For Sher-bert” from the I <3 Nail Art Neons (5mL/$4.95 CDN) line. For my base colour, I used Sally Hansen XTreme Wear – White On.
I should add that the dotting tool is about half the length of a normal dotting tool which might be hard to hold if you have larger hands. The neons are fairly sheer with a hint of shimmer so you cannot wear these on their own unless you’re going for some VNL. You WILL need white undies to have the colour show up!
The I <3 Nail Art Collection also includes nail and improved nail art pens, embellishment kits and striper polishes all of which I will have reviews of very soon! The Sally Hansen I <3 Nail Art Collection can be found at all mass and drug retailers across Canada.
