Today I have another nail polish (last review) from the Rimmel London x Rita Ora Collection along with a new taping gradient technique that I have been wanting to try out!
White Hot Love is a white creme polish with just a hint of shimmer and was fully opaque in 2 thickish coats. White is ALWAYS streaky for me no matter how careful I am with application. I love the extra bit of shimmer in this polish and for those of you who like wearing white polish, White Hot Love is an awesome choice!
This taping gradient was created by first placing striping tape in a criss-cross fashion on fully dry polish. Then I used Lose Your Lingerie and Breakfast in Bed, also from the Rimmel London x Rita Ora Collection and sponged on the two colours while the striping tape was still on. After removing the tape, I followed up with a glitter top coat and while I wish the taping lines were more obvious on camera, I really loved the overall effect.
I don’t usually wear white polish on its own, but how do you feel about white nail polish? Is more manicure or nail art?
PR samples sent for review purposes.
