SHEET MASK | O&Young ACME Beta-Glucan Intensive Moisture Mask

When I think about the number of Kbeauty brands and sheet masks I have yet to try in my lifetime, my eyeballs start to bulge because there are just SO MANY. Even though I got into the Kbeauty game 10 years ago, I never quite caught up and I think I will forever be chasing new products which is fine by me as it means always discovering brands like O&Young, which from what I have pieced together is the parent brand of Candy O' Lady, which is a fun and colourful cosmetics brand with sheet masks I have tried once before. O&Young aims focuses on skincare that repairs damaged skin and I was fortunate enough to have been selected by the Reviews bySophie team to try out a new sheet mask as well as an ampoule and toner that I will have up in a blog post this Friday. I wasn't going to talk about this sheet mask until then, but when I tried it last week I was so blown away that I thought it deserved a place in #SheetMaskSunday!

This sheet mask is made of a nano-fibre material that resembles the traditional cotton sheet mask, but also has a texture that reminded me if biocellulose which was kind of interesting! This texture is because of the inclusion of a "sticky algae" that is "melted" into the mask material ensuring a moisture-locking seal on the skin! The featured ingredients are Beta Glucan, Centella asiatica and chamomile which all act to soothe and brighten the skin.

While the featured ingredients are more at the 50% mark, I am a bit more lenient when it comes to a sheet mask that is just a single use.

I wasn't expecting to be wowed this mask in any way, but I had a feeling it would be a good one. It ended up exceeding my expectations first with the mask fit and cool sheet texture and then by how lovely my skin felt upon removal!

Mask Summary:

Price: $40 CDN/Box of 10 on YesStyle
Skin concerns: Dryness, dullness, soothing
Scent: Sweet floral
Essence Type: Creamy
Duration: 10-20 minutes
Thickness: Thin
Mask Fit: Very good!
Tackiness: None at all even upon removal and my skin felt sooooooo soft and plump! It also looked visibly brighter!
Hydration: Very good!
Other notes: The mask material is VERY interesting as they call it a "nano-fiber mask pack" and the texture minds me of both a cloth and biocellulose mask making it fit so well!

Final verdict: I already have a pack of 10 in my cart on so I will DEFINITELY be restocking as a little reward after the #100DaysofSheetMasks challenge is complete in November! I am not an impatient person, but I do love instant results!
