The Merbliss Wedding Dress series is another cult collection of masks that have long been sheet mask favourites in the Kbeauty community. When you first start researching sheet masks, Merbliss is a brand you will see over and over again as they have some GOOD masks! The Wedding Dress series is based on the idea that on your wedding day, you obviously want the most luminous, bright and hydrated skin you can possibly get and how are you going to do that? With a Merbliss sheet mask of course!
This is a hydrating mask containing hyaluronic acid, caviar extract, licorice extract and the perfect bridal addition, pearl powder! There is also something called a "biomimetic fluid tear" that is supposed to help moisturize and strengthen the skin barrier, but looking at the ingredients, I'm not really sure what this is, but suffice it say, these ingredients are better than what you see in a lot of sheet masks which is why the Merbliss masks generally cost a little bit more.
The "Nude Seal Sheet" refers to a super thin cellulose-based fiber sheet that wraps around the skin and face making an almost invisible seal that is able to hold and deliver a ton of essence. This mask fit beautifully and as you can see in the melfie, it was a near perfect fit. The material was also very soft and supple.
Mask Summary:
Price: Usually around $4 CDN. Pricing has varied from what I have seen, but I think this is what I paid. You can also get these in a pack of 5 for about $23-25.
Skin concerns: Looking luminous on "your wedding day"
Scent: None
Essence Type: Clear and slightly viscous
Duration: 20 minutes
Thickness: Thin and plush.
Mask Fit: SO PERFECT! It was one of those masks where you didn't know where the mask started or my skin ended.
Tackiness: Zero
Hydration: Medium. It might be because of how dry it has been here in Vancouver, but I had to add a bit of moisturizer on top.
Other notes: N/A
Final verdict: I already have a pack of 5 in my Amazon cart! This was a REALLY nice mask to use and I think in "normal" Vancouver weather, this would have felt pretty hydrating. We have been experiencing some strange weather the last month or so with very cold and dry weather so I have had to resort to a skincare routine that I used once when I was visiting Montreal in December!
You can find the Merbliss Wedding Dress masks on Amazon or at various Asian e-tailers.
