Get ready because THIS is one iconic sheet mask! Korean skincare brand Klairs is quite well-known for their Midnight Blue Calming Cream and Youth Activating Drops. They also have a great vitamin C serum which was actually the first product I tried from them! The Midnight Blue Calming Sheet Mask is one I have been wanting to try for a very long time after seeing MANY reviews on this mask and now trying it, I understand why people think it's so cool!
Mask Summary:
Price: Usually around $4 CDN per mask
Skin concerns: Congestion, clogged pores
Scent: Tea tree oil
Essence Type: Clear, viscous
Duration: 20 minutes
Thickness: Medium, but fairly standard for bamboo charcoal sheet masks
Mask Fit: REALLY good because of the extra slits all over the mask
Tackiness: None, but not smooth like silicone either. I felt like I had plump and hydrated skin! Note that it did take about 2-3 hours for the initial tackiness to dry down.
Hydration: Good, but if you would still like to layer moisturizer on top, you can do so comfortably.
Other notes: Redness in my cheeks and nose area were completely gone!
Final verdict: Seeing as how I have already ordered a pack of five more of these masks, it is evident I enjoyed it! I loved the instant cooling effect as the erythritol took away all of the redness in my cheeks and around my nose. I also loved the suppleness and softness of my skin upon removal of the mask and the fit was nothing short of fantastic. It's also not too pricey making this kind of an awesome mask that I understand the hype for!
I ordered my Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Sheet Masks from Montreal-based www.kshop.ca, but you can find this mask on Amazon and various Kbeauty e-tailers.
