The Oozoo is known for their "poppable" sheet masks and when I came across their Oozoo Bear series five years ago, I thought it was the cutest idea to have you pop the "ear" full of serum! There are a few different mask options and after having reviewed the Illuminating and Hydrating versions, this Pore Caring mask is the last Oozoo Bear I have in my collection and it's a good one!
What makes this mask special? Well, other than the 2-step aspect, this is a"pore-tightening" mask that uses a black bamboo sheet to deliver "pore-clearing" ingredients like witch hazel and tea tree leaf extract. You cannot actually reduce the size of your pores, but you can constrict the skin which is what witch hazel does so while the effects are short-lived, oily skin will have a temporary reprieve after using this mask. I don't often use masks like this because I like my oils, but in the summer or after wearing a mask at work all day, a mask like this can be nice.
As usual, even though I find the poppable mask aspect fun, I can never muster the strength to pop this masks in a cool way so I always end up hammering away, but EVENTUALLY I did this ear to pop and the ampoule essence to go through. The ampoule had ceramides in it which serve to reinforce the skin barrier and the mask itself, in addition to the witch hazel and tea tree leaf extract, has glorious peptides!
