NAILS | Happy Easter Bunny #CBBxManiMonday

This month's theme is "Flowers and Pastels" and though I have a couple of flower manicures floating around in my brain, I also realized that this Sunday is Easter and I have yet to do an Easter manicure! I feel like I have exhausted most of the ideas floating around and have done most of the standard Easter things like chicks, bunnies, bunny bums, bunnies eating carrots, Cadbury Eggs and regular eggs so after these bunnies, I am going to head into flowers as the possibilities are endless. I don't know what you all have going on today, but the first thing I will be doing after this is a bit of meal planning as we have now amassed a fair amount of food and need to pair some meals with them!

 PR gifted

I copied this pin from nail artist, Paula, from just1nail and instead of changing up the colours, I kept them the same because I adore purple and it also gave me a chance to use one of the new shades from the OPI Mexico City Collection. I used a dotting tool for the polka dots and a fine nail art brush to draw the bunnies with acrylic paint. You can obviously use nail polish as well, but acrylic paint does not dry as quickly which makes painting fine detail easier to do. In these times of quarantine, I have also only painted one hand so maybe you will see another manicure from me this week!

Polishes used:

(Base Coat) OPI Glitter Off Peel Off Base Coat
(Base) OPI Infinite Shine Do You Lilac It?*
(Dots) OPI Mariachi Makes My Day*
(Bunnies) White, pink and black acrylic paint
(Top Coat) CND Vinylux Gel-Like Effect Longwear Top Coat*

Have a great day everyone and be sure to check out: Renee and Trysh's blog and social media channels for their manicures!
