SHEET MASK | Rodial Pink Diamond Lifting Face Mask

On Wednesdays, we wear PINK! I've realized now that I have a fair amount of pink cosmetics so maybe I should make it a thing to feature something pink on the blog every Wednesday? It seems fun enough to do on Instagram so why not here too? I like pink and I definitely like diamonds so although the Rodial Pink Diamond collection isn't new, it wasn't until I tried Rodial's Vit C sheet mask that I saw there was also one in the Pink Diamond collection and was curious to see if it would be a better experience than the Vit C sheet mask (review).

Just like the Vit C mask, this mask is also made of biocellulose which is one of the most hydrating materials for sheet mask use. The main difference between this one and Vit C is the use of diamond powder and pink grapefruit for brightening as well as "skin-lifting peptides". The main thing I was hoping for was that I wanted the mask to stay moist for the full 20-30 minutes which should be really easy for biocellulose, but was not the case with the Vit C mask.

What was kind of cute was that the essence actually tinted the mask pink so I really did feel all pink and pretty while wearing it!

With regards to the "skin-tightening complex" and peptides, I don't really know what ingredients those refer to, but the featured ingredients are sort of at the halfway point with the diamond powder being a little bit lower.

Final verdict:
I think Rodial is a great brand and they do a lot of wonderful things with skincare and when it comes to sheet masks, they went for the glory in choosing biocellulose as their mask material so I give the brand kudos for that! Having used so many sheet masks though, this is not the best biocellulose sheet mask I have tried, but it's not to say I wouldn't use it again. The ingredients are decent, but I wish there was more essence in the package. I also would prefer a slightly thicker biocellulose sheet for the price as I feel the thickness is equivalent to a mask under $10. As for the results, my skin did look great and glowy so I can't complain there and if you give it a try, I'm sure you will not be disappointed. I just know too much now to just give a thumbs up without seeing how this mask stacks up to others I've tried.
