MAKEUP | Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette

It's #PinkWednesday again and yes, I have yet another Natasha Denona blush palette, but it was just a coincidence that the scheduling of last week's post was also one of her palettes and boy was it a beauty! I have been waiting to photograph the Bloom Blush & Glow Palette ever since I purchased it last Fall, but time seemed to always be a factor and there was no way I could bring myself to put my hands on the creams and powders before immortalizing its perfection in a flatlay. Now, that I have done so, I feel like I must have ALL of the other Blush & Glow Palettes, but then the rational part of my brain keeps asking "How many highlighters do you REALLY need?!"

Purchased by me

Instagram made me do it. Honestly, I saw this baby on someone's feed and put it in my cart. This was actually the first ND blush palette I bought (before Citrus) and I bought it blindly without looking at swatches or reviews. That scary red looking blush was what did it and while it is scarily pigmented, it is what made me justify how "special" this palette was to have. There are a few Blush & Glow Palettes (Love is next on my list!) and unlike the previous 6 pan palette from last week, I thought having just four shades and two finishes should be easy enough to figure out. I tried looking for a tutorial on ND's YouTube channel, but for some reason couldn't find it in the exact moment I was wanting to take my photos. I did my best to figure it out, but realized I had reversed the order of something. It still looked super pretty in the end though!

The way I swatched (R-L) was the Glow Cream Base, followed by the Glow Cream Base with Glow Extreme layered on top just to show what they look like together. The rest of the swatches are just what's in the pans, but all are in the rose gold family with the bright berry red cream blush just screaming pigment! It can also be used on the lips to create an ombre Korean style lip or a regular berry lip as just the tiniest bit of product is enough to take care of both the top and bottom lip.

The base is super subtle and I was actually pretty heavy-handed with my application! The texture was smooth and I had no problems blending this into my skin with my fingers.

OMG, so this cream blush is incredibly pigmented! I tapped once with three fingers and then blended out with a sponge.  At this rate, this pan is going to outlive me I'm sure! It's beautiful though and if you are more fair than myself, I'm sure one finger tap will deliver enough pigment to the cheeks.

Here is where I kind of f'ed up in that I was supposed to layer the Duo Glow on top of the Cream Base first, but it still looks pretty with Glow Extreme which is more like a sparkle than hardcore highlighter.

I can't stand this side of my facc, but it seemed necessary to take advantage of both sides of my face to show the different ways this palette could be worn.

I re-did this side correctly so that I would be symmetrical (for the many people I would run into in my house like my husband and two cats) and really LOVE the cream blush with the Duo Glow and Glow Extreme! A light hand is all you need for a healthy flush with some rose gold flare!

Final verdict: If that crazy cream blush is too crazy for you, I get it, but if you're like me I got this palette because I thought I had seen and tried it all when it came to blushes and then THIS showed up on my feed. Like everything Natasha Denona I have tried, the quality, pigmentation, texture check all the boxes of what make a fabulous product. I think I will cool it for a few months until the Fall for my next Natasha Denona face palette as I feel I have amassed a bit of a collection in a short span of time, but this Blush & Glow Palette is one that makes me happy with zero regrets.
