As tired as I may look, I really hate using heavy makeup or concealer to hide my hard circles. In all honesty, I tend to skip the step entirely or just use whatever BB cream I’m using to hide them as best as possible. If I’m feeling on the ball, I’ll grab the Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller which is a bit watery in texture, but does brighten up my undereye area. I thought the new Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector would be similar, as this product also promises to correct dark circles, minimize puffiness, awaken the skin, even out out skin tone and of course, hydrate that thin undereye area. So, how did BB Eye measure up?
You cannot have an eye product that minimizes puffiness without that classic metal rollerball to instantly cool and constrict pores on contact.
I’m sorry for looking so tired. It was early in the morning and I wanted you all to see my skin right when I got up. You can see that I am pretty puffy in the morning and TIRED-LOOKING! There is a slight improvement on the dark circle front which is much more obvious in person. Really.
Final verdict: The Garnier BB Eye definitely had much more coverage power than the Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller. When I first rolled it on, I thought it would be just as watery and sheer, but when I started blending it out I noticed it had a thicker, bordering on creamy consistency that covered more of my dark circles without the caking I sometimes experience with concealer. My under eyes also stayed hydrated all day. I definitely prefer the BB Eye to the Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller as I feel I am finally getting some decent coverage from an eye roll-on as well as experiencing the pleasure of the cold metal rollerball on my face. I’ve been using it under BB Cream and I feel I at least look slightly less corpse-like.
Do you cover up your dark circles or just vow to sleep and get more rest?
