It has been FOREVER since I have done a monthly favourites post (I kid you not, it has probably been 10 years!), but I felt like sharing some products that I just have not been able to put down for the last month and half because it's possible you might feel the same!

SKINCARE | The Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Cleansing Ritual

I seem to be exhibiting a bit of a pattern this last week when it comes to what I have been talking about in that a lot of my posts have been personal purchases over the last year or so. I go through these phases where I see something cool and new, envision a beautiful flatlay and post idea, tell myself I'm going to try the product "as soon as I finish what I'm working on now", then time starts to fly and now I'm quarantined and forced to come to terms with the fact that it has been 15 months since I purchased the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Cleansing Ritual and am finally sharing my thoughts with you!

MAKEUP | Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Collection

Anytime Charlotte Tilbury releases new makeup, my social media blows up with products I need to have with beautiful swatches and wearable looks that I feel I can pull off because the colour stories are so cohesive. The newest addition to the Pillow Talk family was a big one and though I already owned the Matte Revolution lipstick and lip liner, after waiting a couple of weeks, I started seriously thinking of adding some of the newer products to my makeup collection which resulted in THIS post and makeup look! Suffice it to say, I have new go-tos in my makeup life!

MAKEUP | Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation - I've Found "The One"!

Last Fall, I finally got a chance to try a Charlotte Tilbury foundation and it was very disappointing. After years of loving her eye, lip, cheek and skincare products (dry sheet mask please!) I was heartbroken when the Airbrush Flawless Foundation just did not work for me (see my sad face here), but there was still another foundation to try that people seemed to like and that was the Magic Foundation!

MAKEUP | Inside My 2020 Beautylish Lucky Bag

I stopped subscription boxes after blogging more as being surprised by products was proving to be more of a waste of money as I would either have duplicates or similar products on hand. If I was going to spend money, I would rather know that the value will be there AND that I won't have the product already, but after seeing enough Beautylish Lucky Bag unboxings I felt comfortable taking a risk and shelling out $100!

MAKEUP | Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation

While I can safely say I have tried almost every type of product from Charlotte Tilbury from lips to eyes to skin, I had yet to try ANY of her foundations until the new Airbrush Flawless Foundation. Even my husband took the time to tell me about this post he saw on Reddit about "the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation that covers up rosacea" so it's definitely a foundation that is makin' the rounds!

MAKEUP | Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 with Lip Swatches

I love Charlotte Tilbury makeup just as much as the next girl and though I am fortunate enough to receive the occasional press package here and there, I do buy a fair amount of CT product on my own especially when I need to restock on my dry sheet masks! When the original Hot Lips launched back in 2016 (review), I was psyched to get my hands on them and bought a few more after enjoying the formula and shades quite a bit. Now, there are 11 brand new shades with two formulas coming in 5 collectable cases! Oh, and the cases are refillable!

SKINCARE | My Top 13 Sheet Masks from 2018!

Well Happy New Year everyone! We have made it to 2019, Trump is still President, Elizabeth Warren has made her bid for 2020, Justin has finally moved on from Selena and the beauty world truly became a lucrative jackpot for brands and makeup enthusiasts alike, but not without some drama. Well, you won't find that here today! I tried out hundreds of sheet masks in 2018 (quite literally thanks to my #100DaysofSheetMasks Challenge) and though it was a bit of a blur, I do have some true standouts to share that truly worked for me starting off with one I talk about a lot!

SKINCARE | Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magical Facial Dry Sheet Mask - Yes, It's Actually DRY!

The dry sheet mask. Not often am I so curious about a skincare product that I take my photos and start using it right away! I adore Charlotte Tilbury makeup and even though I get sent things from time to time, I have done a fair share of purchasing because the quality, colours and packaging meet all of my criteria when it comes to a high end makeup product. Oftentimes, I am wary of when colour cosmetics companies start wandering over into skincare. I never feel like the transition is clean and because I am somewhat anal about what goes on my skin, I would rather use makeup from a skincare company than skincare from a makeup company. Charlotte Tilbury has not let me down yet so when i saw the Instant Magical Facial Dry Sheet Mask* ($27.00 CDN) I experienced a range of emotions including: intrigue, suspicion and excitement.   

MAKEUP LOOK | Celebrating the Lunar New Year with Charlotte Tilbury...and Blue Hair

I never really thought about the fact that I tend to do changes around Chinese/Lunar New Year. Last year, I changed my blog layout after 4 years and this year it seems I have gone blue. I will talk about my latest Aveda hair adventure after I see how the colour rinses out over the next few weeks, but for now you will have to bear with me as I struggle to find makeup and clothing that matches my Muppet locks!

Over the holidays, I had a Holt Renfrew gift card that I needed to spend which always leads me to the beauty section. I didn't want more skincare which meant makeup. Which meant the Charlotte Tilbury counter. I was a crazy big fan of the Hot Lips Lipsticks (review) and knew I wanted to add a beautiful red from the same series to my collection and it just so happened that Carina Lau was one of the newest additions to the Hot Lips celebrity family. Carina Lau is HUGE in Asian circles and though I haven't been following her career closely, all you have to do is say her name and everyone of all ages knows immediately who she is.

This is probably one of the few makeup lines where I am scared to even LOOK at products because I know I will more than likely buy something. Anything. There hasn't been a CT product that I haven't liked and now I am about to add one more must-have product to the list. MAKEUP LOOK | Charlotte Tilbury Transforms Me Into “The Rebel” #CBBLovesTilbury

She’s here. In Canada. And beauty lovers everywhere are lining up as of today in Holt’s on Bloor Street, Toronto. Charlotte Tilbury has long been one of those coveted UK brands that you watched YTubers like Zoella rave about and hoped that one day you yourself would have just a taste. Well, not only is the brand launching in Toronto today, but will also be coming to Holt’s in Vancouver the week of July 6th! To celebrate, myself and 9 other Canadian Beauty Bloggers are answering Charlotte’s questions of “Who Do I Want to be Today?” by recreating one of her 10 signature looks. I’m actually very tame day to day, but this virtual space is my playground and I almost always wanted to be a bit of a rebel with colour, but still look fairly feminine.
