Revlon | Fall Makeup Look with Shadowlinks Eyeshadows in Onyx, Khaki, Chocolate and Oyster and Moisture Stain in Parisian Passion (With Swatches)

This SHOULD have been up about a week ago, but silly me had to contract strep throat along with an unrelenting fever in the worst way possible delaying all of this lovely Fall beauty goodness. Many of you are familiar with the Revlon Shadowlinks Eyeshadows (review) and there are some new shades for this Fall season that are sure to delight your inner forest nymph.

For the Fall makeup look below, I decided to use the Shadowlinks eyeshadow shades in: Oyster (Metallic), Chocolate (Matte), Khaki (Pearl) and Onyx (Pearl). As a number of you have come to realize, not all Shadowlinks shadows are created equally with Oyster being a bit of disappointment. Chocolate and Khaki swatched exceptionally beautifully.

Revlon Moisture Stain Parisian Passion

Nothing says a Fall lip like a vampy (I’m sorry, but I will be overusing this word for the next two months) shade like Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in Parisian Passion. This was my first time using a Moisture Stain and I really enjoyed it. “Moist” is definitely a word I’d use to describe it.

No fancy wizardry here, I started by applying Oyster on the inner third of my eyelid as well as on my brow bone with Chocolate as my crease colour. I then pretty much went crazy with Khaki, because I loved it so much, all over the remaining 2/3 of my eyelid. I smoked it out with Onyx at the “V” and replicated the colour scheme on my lower lash line with a pencil eyeshadow brush. For my lips, it was all about Parisian Passion and I could not get over how a stain could be so shiny and moisturizing!

Final Verdict: Seeing as how I have reviewed the Shadowlinks shadows before, I won’t say too much other than there are some really great shades in the Fall collection with Khaki and Chocolate being my favourite so far based on colour and pigmentation. I have a feeling the Moisture Stains are much more consistent when it comes to colour delivery and so far, I am really loving them. I know I’m late to the party with these, but these are REALLY nice. They feel very WET upon application like a lot of the lip stains out there, but what’s nice is that it doesn’t dry all that quickly and leaves a very vibrant colour even hours after application (about 5 hours for me).

In addition to “vampy” colours, metallics, bright pops of coral and pink and even nudes are in for Fall. What colours would YOU rather be sporting this season?
