I am truly grateful for the ability to smell when a collection like the Early Harvest Raspberry collection from The Body Shop comes out. I am generally not a fan of the raspberry scent normally, but when done right is utterly olfactory-gripping. This whole collection smells just like raspberry jam. I kept having to remind myself that I wasn’t in my kitchen, but in my bathroom whenever I was around these products! This is definitely a time where I wish Smell-O-Vision were invented!
This is the Body Butter ($20.00) which like all Body Shop Body Butters, is INCREDIBLY hydrating and although I cannot attest to the 24H hydration claim because I do like to take showers everyday, it is so buttery thick that I only really use it on very dry areas. I actually prefer the Body Lotion ($12.00) as the formulation is lighter and of course, I love pumps. I’m guessing that the body butter can’t be in a pump dispenser because it’s just too dense!
This is the Body Scrub ($20.00) and if this were in a glass jar, you visually could not tell the difference between it and a raspberry jam. This is one of those fine sugary scrubs and gentle enough to use everyday. The jam-like texture makes it extra soothing and enjoyable to use and I especially love the seeds! I call this a “soft scrub” as my skin doesn’t feel completely stripped after use.
Final Verdict: This collection just smells too good. There is even a little “DO NOT EAT” symbol on the side of the Body Scrub tub so it seriously is THAT delicious-smelling. I don’t think I really I need to talk about the quality of the products as Body Shop products have spoken for themselves over the years, but if you were lucky enough to grab a few products from the Early Harvest collection, I’m sure you are enjoying them now and if you missed out, I have a feeling this collection will make a comeback!
